UPDATE

5/10/20 FOSTER UPDATE: Miss Ladybug is a sweet Chocolate lab who arrived here shortly after giving birth. She thrives on human attention and is a very typical lab girl! Lady is doing fine with her foster brothers and could either be part of a family or be the queen of the house which she may prefer. Lady walks great on a leash with perfect eye contact, she loves a soft bed and bone to entertain herself. She does not require crating, but I am sure she would be comfortable either way. As a four-year-old, she has perfect house habits, house trained, and can be left alone with no issues. We love Miss Lady and find she is perfectly content to she stay near her house and is happiest by your side. She has the perfect energy for any lifestyle- playful or just laid back and will easily adapt to her new home.

As Ladybug’s story unfolds, we discovered her owners were giving her away on Facebook. Fortunately, our friends in TN reached out and rescued her and her new pups. Almost immediately, we were able to send her to her foster family, where she is thriving and receiving the care that was missing in her former home. LB is a very loving and affectionate 4-year-old and would be a fabulous family pet. She tested Heartworm positive, so once she is free from weaning her pups, we can proceed with her treatment. Her foster family has provided excellent information about her and she is a very special girl.
