Percy is a sweet 3 year old Yellow Lab mix. He was picked up as a stray and not claimed at the shelter. We can’t understand why! He has won the hearts of everyone he has met and one of his transporters said she almost took him home! He is sweet and listens very well. Percy walks great on a leash and gets along nicely with other dogs.  He will make a great companion to a lucky family.

Foster update 4/15: Percy is back with his foster mom.  His previous owners had to return him because of the illness of a family member. Percy has developed a case of separation anxiety due to his change in surroundings.  He is not destructive, just barks to let me know he doesn’t want me to leave him and barks when I return.   I am able to calm him down quickly.  He will need someone who has the patience to work through his fear.  He is being fostered with Carson and my 11 year old lab.  Percy loves to wrestle and chase Carson around the yard.  He also loves to lay in the yard and watch the birds and squirrels.  He doesn’t need to be crated.  He is so soft and fluffy.  Percy rides great in the car.  I take him everywhere I can because he is so sweet and well behaved.
