Abner arrived at CLR with glowing accolades. He was the shelter favorite and even became the “office” dog because he is such a great dog. He is a loving combination of Golden Retriever and Black Lab and one very handsome fella. He is only 10 months old and even was a celebrity when he posed for an advertisement. It is difficult to believe that this wonderful dog who loves everyone was found tied to a pole before he was rescued by a good Samaritan. Currently, Abner is only around 50 pounds but is still a healthy growing boy looking for his forever home.
Note: We just learned that Abner is yet another Heartworm positive pup and will begin his HW treatment
