Two-year-old Annabelle arrived at CLR with a reprehensible and appalling past. She was chained in a yard while in heat, which in itself it high risk for her safety. She had nothing to protect her and her neck was wounded from an embedded collar but fortunately, it Dhas healed well. She also came to us with dermatitis and an ear infection and some scars on her paws but has improved and feeling so much better. The miracle is that she is such a sweet girl, and we imagine she is gratified to finally be safe. Like many in this area, she appears to have some allergies but responds well to medication. She did join a family for a short while, but we were surprised to learn that after a month, had a conflict with their cat. Prior to arriving at CLR, she lived with numerous cats and had no issues at all. She is incredibly sweet and does well with kids too. Now it’s time for her to permanently put her painful past exactly where it belongs – in the past.
