BOOMERANG – ADOPTED

Hey friends…I’m Boomerang! I’m 1.5 years old and weigh 82lbs. I was born blind in one eye due to some complications at birth. I’m missing an eye now, but it’s no biggie! I’ve been told I’m still SUPER handsome, and I think it makes me look tough!

Boomerang is a purebred Lab. He was originally bought through a breeder, but because he was blind the breeder didn’t register him. His original owner recognized Boomer deserved more attention than he could provide and made the difficult decision to rehome him. Our vets evaluated him when he arrived to CLR and determined his blind eye was causing him significant pain; they decided to remove it to ensure he lives as comfortably as possible!

Boomerang is SUCH a good boy! He does well with other dogs, cats and children (though he has never been around young babies or toddlers). He LOVES water! His dream home would have lots of land for him to explore. We’re thrilled to have the chance to find this boy’s forever home in time for summer so he can do lots of swimming!
