We had the privilege of spending extra time with Brody last weekend and suffice it to say, “He is an absolute sweetheart!”

The absolutely precious boy was found wandering and considering his flea-ridden condition, we believe he had been on his own for a while. He climbed on the porch of a family and although the woman in the home wanted to help him, her husband’s response was he wanted him immediately gone. Since she could not locate Brody’s family, she took him to the shelter. Fortunately, he is now safe in our care. He weighs about 65 pounds and is a 3-year-old sweet and gentle soul.
We just received the lab report and unfortunately, Brody will also need to begin HW treatment. Considering his neglect, we are not surprised and are fortunate to be able to help him. We have successfully treated over 200 for HW disease and are confident he will be just fine.
