Brody also arrived Oct 13th, with Pilots ‘n Paws. He was more anxious on the flight than Perry, but once he settled in, he was just fine. He is 5 years old and need to put on a little weight along with more nutritious food. He gets along well with other dogs and is quite playful. He needs some additional manners, especially walking with a leash, but we expect with guidance he’ll become another wonderful labbie companion. His sweet face is quite irresistible, and we hope he finds his family very soon to love and provide him the warmth and care he deserves.
FOSTER UPDATE 12/1/13: “Well, we are a week in with Brody joining our crew for the holidays. He is putting on some major weight, which is good since you could see every rib! He is doing great, eats like a champ, slowly, and with lots of patience. He is learning to sit and his name. He is house trained, crate trained, and slowly learning how to walk on a leash. He loves to walk and run and play after a ball. This week should be better to get out on a leash, but he is doing much better. Can you say a sweetheart? He takes treats very gently, he is very submissive with humans and pretty much ok with all dogs. He wants to be loved on so he would be fine with a house without another dog or with one. He sleeps through the night no problem on a soft bed! All in all, a wonderful boy who just wants a human family to love on him, and he will return that love with much gratitude…going to be a great addition to any family.”
