Buddy Wags – ADOPTED

UPDATE

Now for all the great news about Buddy: he is house trained and crate trained, although he is good outside of the crate and apparently doesn’t really need to be crated; he lives with three cats does fine with them and isn’t phased when they climb on him; he is fine with other dogs, but prefers human companionship; adores playing with kids. As much as he loves playtime, he is equally content just watching the world go by. Other than managing his allergies, he is a pretty fantastic dog.

Meet Buddy. At five and a half years old and 85 lbs, Buddy is one of the sweetest labs you’ll ever meet. Buddy’s original owner rescued him as a pup from the pound and loved him dearly until her passing, He was then taken in by a family who also loves him, but when his kids went off to college, he became very sad with no one around to run and play outside, spending hours cooped up at home alone. He loves other animals and has even been known to let his cat friends ride his back. He loves to play fetch, tug of war, and walks respectfully on a leash. Buddy does suffer with allergies from time to time that’s controlled with a daily doggie antihistamine that he takes without fuss … then rolls over for his tummy rub and “good boy” love! We can’t imagine a more loving and wonderful dog to add to your family and look forward to helping Buddy find a new family to fill his heart.
