One look at this precious 3-month-old puppy’s beautiful face and it’s difficult to envision his story prior to arriving at CLR. Fortunately, his neighbors witnessed too many abusive behaviors, and they stepped up to make sure he was removed from this home.
From what we learned, Neighbors noticed him on the road and on the main highway on several occasions. The first time he was returned to his owner, the owner literally threw him in the yard and beat him. The next time, they just left him sitting on the porch where he wasn’t safely contained. When he was recorded chasing his owner on a bike and nearly hit by a truck, she just laughed when she watched the video. Apparently, the neighbors had seen enough, and he was picked up by the authorities with animal control. The owners never claimed him, and we are beyond grateful to have him in our care. We shudder to think about what could have become of this beautiful, defenseless little boy.
