Meet Chip!  He is a 2 year old, 67lb black lab that arrived at CLR after being left behind by his owner.

Personality:  Chip is a lovable, confident dog with just the right mix of playful energy and calm vibes. He’s obedient and easygoing. Chip is also great with other dogs and enjoys making new friends. Whether you’re out exploring or relaxing at home, he’ll happily be by your side.

Training:  Chip knows the command “sit” and is extremely treat-motivated, which makes him eager to learn. He’s ready to pick up new skills and would love a family who will work with him on his training. With his sweet personality and willingness to please, Chip is sure to become a star student in no time!

Updates

Volunteer update

Chip is a super chill and gentle Lab mix who gets along great with other dogs. He’s a laid-back guy with a low energy level, happy to just hang out and watch what’s going on around him. Sometimes he gets a little restless and curious, but he never pulls or tries too hard to get his way. Chip is polite and well-mannered with people, making him an easy dog to have around.

Chip walks nicely on a leash and doesn’t pull. He knows the “sit” command, but it might take him a few tries to follow through. The only thing Chip really doesn’t like is bath time—he’s not too fond of water.
