We never met Cinderella, but we were so ready to open our hearts to her. When we learned about her plight and difficulties, we jumped right in and said, YES! Her specific injuries had not been determined, but we knew she had a very difficult past and likely struck by a car. One short hour from going to the vet, she passed away. We desperately wanted the privilege of bringing her a better future and restore her health. Her loving spirit never changed, and we think she knew her life was about to change. Her picture alone and the shelter director told us all we needed to know that she was special. She deserved our tears and broken hearts, yet she also deserved a chance, but time was not on her side.
