Every now and again, a dog arrives at CLR with a broken spirit. Clancy was that dog. He was staving, and we discovered several bullets that still remained in his malnourished body. Although he was fearful, he still had the capacity to love once he could feel safe. He was such a sweet boy and relished the time he had when Camp Senior opened their home and hearts to this struggling dog. Clancy’s need were great, but his mom provided him with everything he had never known – a warm bed, food, safety, and most importantly, love. With enormous sadness, it was time for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge, where he can run pain free with no emotional burdens. He will find comfort and peace with his pack family that passed before him. Clancy will also hold a special place in our hearts and will be forever missed.
