Clifford’s foster was very succinct when he said, “Clifford is an absolute angel”.
We were certainly captured by Clifford’s soulful expression and beautiful eyes. He was surrendered with Gizzel by his family because they were moving. Fortunately, they are not particularly bonded and can be separated. He is four years old and approximately 60 pounds. The shelter sent videos of Clifford enjoying a game of fetch and was enjoying the company of other pups. He does well with humans and is quite a handsome chocolate lab.
Clifford had a few seizures prior to arriving with CLR and one shortly after his arrival. He previously was not prescribed anything other than valium as it appears that stress is the major culprit. His blood work also came back without any abnormalities. He is being carefully monitored to determine if he needs additional medication. Clifford had a few seizures, and happily he is responding very well to his medication and his prognosis is good Many dogs live very full and normal lives on seizure medication, and we are hopeful his seizure activity will be managed. Some may consider Clifford as having special needs, for us, we just consider him a very special pup.
