Coco Puff is a 3 yr. old, 42 lb. (underweight) beautiful chocolate chunk of love. She is a very sweet girl who loves attention. Also, she is good on a leash and dog friendly. Coco Puff came to CLR with her sister Nilla Wafer from a shelter that received them as an owner surrender. Both girls are underweight as shelter life was a hard transition for them. The two sisters can be adopted separately.

FOSTER UPDATE

Coco Puff is a very sweet pup who wants to get and give attention. She can be as active as you want her to be and will lay around the house completely content on lose lazy days when needed.  We have not had any issues with her jumping on any furniture and she has not used the bathroom inside.  I would assume she is house trained.  I do keep her in a crate when I leave for work and she does great as she does not use the bathroom inside of the crate and has not chewed any of the blankets we put inside with her. Coco Puff has been sleeping in our room.  We have been puting a dog bed next to us with a blanket and she has done extremely well. She has such a cute and loving demeanor about her.  Coco Puff is underweight and we have been feeding her three times a day and giving her lots of of love.

Coco Puff  was quite nervous when she came into our home and she shied away from going into certain areas of the home and was quite scared going up and down the steps.  Currently, she is very anxious and nervous about her situation and her surroundings as there has been so much change in her life.  She has been gaining confidence each day.

We have been practicing  leash walking with Coco Puff.  When we first walked her and put the leash on her, she appeared to have no leash manners and pulled every direction. We have taken her for a few walks with our dog and she starts off pulling and after walking for a few minutes she does great. I do use the training prong collar and pulled up on that a few times and she started to catch on pretty quickly as to what was expected of her. We had a few neighbor dogs that were out and ran towards us and she showed no aggression towards them and we just continued on our walk.

She will make a great addition to a loving home and anyone would be happy to have her!
