It always saddens us when we learn that one of our wonderful alum has crossed the bridge. Copper, named for the color of his velvet ears, departed much too soon and was deeply cherished by his family. Their loving words beautifully capture this wonderful boy.
Copper joined our family in June 2013. He went from being afraid of anything with wheels, kids, manhole covers, cars, and chalk drawings on the sidewalk to being the neighborhood social director. He loved visiting our park and getting treats from the rangers. He was much loved and is sorely missed. Thank you for helping Copper find his forever home with us.
Run Free, Copper
