UPDATE
5/13/19: After just one week with her foster, Daisey is doing remarkably well. She is potty trained, crate trained, gets along well with the other dogs, beginning to feel comfortable enough to engage in play, and her appetite has returned. So far, everything is such fantastic! Although she is a little curious, she is even okay with the foster’s two cats. BEST NEWS – hasn’t even attempted to dig any holes. So there you have quite a fantastic update. We often need to remind ourselves of the challenges the dogs endure with so many confusing changes in their lives.
5/9/19 UPDATE: Daisey is doing well in her foster home and has even enjoyed some time socializing in daycare. She is adjusting to time in her crate and getting along with her foster siblings. Like so many dogs, it’s taking her a little while to regain her appetite, but that is improving as she begins to feel more comfortable. She’s an affectionate and loving girl and like nearly every dog, she just needs time to transition to a new environment.
