Dottie has definitely earned the word “Darling” in front of her name. She is a 10 month old, 40 lb. mild mannered, owner surrendered dog. She is great on a leash, house trained, good with dogs and kids. As you can see in the video below, she is a very happy, confident girl who is eager to please. According to owner, she has never even given a “mean face” when another animal goes after her food. Why did the owner surrender her, you ask? Owner had just recently gone through a divorce and adult children bought Dottie thinking adding another dog would help ease her loneliness. This was not the case as it was too much for owner to take care of even though she struggled with the decision to hand over this precious gem.
