One year old Dart has acquired quite a following. He has the most loving personality, and he took on the role of a perfect co-pilot on his trip to Cincinnati. As much as he loves his toys, his heart belongs to people. Everyone says he’s impossible not to love-all 50 pounds of him. Dart was found as a stray, but he remains so joyful. He is a very happy boy, and he will be so please to have a stash of tennis balls to keep him entertained. He spent a short time in a home and is now back with CLR. Below is an excellent description from the family:
Dart is as sweet as can be & loves to be loved on. He is a huge fan of humans and with a happy wagging tail, he will melt to the floor in a love puddle showing his belly! His name is fitting as he is a fast little boy who will dart in and out of the house. He loves, loves, loves as many squeaky toys as he can find and has a panache for chasing tennis balls. This whirlwind of energy would do amazing with a family that can devote a lot of time, love and patience to him. He doesn’t like to be left alone and expresses that through your typical youngster outlets. Dart still needs to learn that his crate is a safe space and not one that encourages him to be an escape artist. Only when left alone does he seem to show his counter surfing abilities.
He is a confident pup and for the most part does well with another dog unless play time gets too serious. Then he wants to let you & others know he’s in charge. If you want someone to cuddle with and keep you warm, especially at night, this is the perfect fit for you! Even though he’s had a rough start to life, you would never know with his happy demeanor.
