UPDATE

9/17/19 FOSTER UPDATE: Justice joined our pack only 48 hours ago. He is adjusting to a new world of love, 3 foster brothers, 3 meals a day, and enjoyable walks.  He loves people and does fine with most dogs, but he does needs time to adjust to his new environment. Most fosters require time to transition, and considering the trauma he likely has endured, we are truly impressed with how well he is doing. On his first night at his foster home, Justice did surprisingly well with our 14 dinner guests, two additional lab visitors, and his 3 foster brothers. He managed all the activity so well and embraced all the extra attention and love. Needless to say, he slept soundly in his crate until the following morning.

Justice most often demonstrates positive energy, but considering everything is still so new to him, he may occasionally pace. When he does, we take him for a nice walk and then he relaxes and contently to lays at our feet.  He seems to be house trained and will go to the door when he needs to potty outside. He is food motivated and shaking a few treats will gain his attention and he’ll come on command. After such a short time, we are amazed at how well he is adjusting. Our vision for his future would be an active family with children where he can relax and be close to his new family.
