UPDATE
10/23/19 FOSTER UPDATE: Larry continues to do well in his foster home, but he would sure like to find his forever family. He has been trained to an invisible fence, is crate trained, and completely housebroken. He is such a sweet guy. We know he isn’t all labbie, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve a forever home too.
9/8/19 UPDATE: Larry’s foster mom just discovered this little guy can jump her fence, but once he does, he barks to come back. What a goof! Regardless, she recommends at least a 4.5 foot fence or an invisible fence to keep him safe. His confidence continues to grow and he is thriving in his foster home as he learns to enjoy a human touch, playtime, and his foster siblings.
8/30/19 NEW FOSTER UPDATE: Larry is a very happy guy in his foster home. He is learning to except loving touches and hugs and loves being around his dog friends. He is crate trained and house broke. He would love to have a loving family and a doggy friend in a forever home. He is learning manners in the house and hopes to find that special family real soon. All he needs is love!
7/24/19 FOSTER UPDATE: We have been fostering Larry since July 13th and are overwhelmed with his progress. When he first arrived, he was terrified and laid in a pitiful, curled ball in the corner and rarely moved. Fast forward to today, and he is running around outside with his big brother and far more social. He has had zero potty accidents and we are continuing to work on crate training, but we actually haven’t needed to crate him at all. We doubt he has even been on a leash and are teaching him to be comfortable on a leash and to enjoy walks and having a new adventure. He is a super sweet boy, and we have loved helping him learn about family life.
