another Sweet 2-year-old Maddie has a sad arrival story. She was abandoned outside an animal shelter overnight, with some food (in the gravel on the ground) and some water in a paint can. She had white paint on her ears (from the paint can…) and several splotches of blue paint on her body -likely from a paintball gun -yes difficult to imagine. Consequently, learning to trust people has been quite a journey for Maddie.
Maddie is a very sweet girl, and when she finds her family, she will come with a special request for her adopters to continue to provide her with the right guidance. She will love her person with every ounce of her being and be a very devoted companion seeking their attention. Her foster parents have worked diligently to teach her the benefits of a loving home and to help her achieve success in situations she encounters.
Maddie’S foster family willingly will assist her new adopters with her transition so she can continue her amazing progress. Maddie’s new found confidence is a delight to witness and we also know the essential need to continue the beneficial training want to set her up for complete success. Maddie is an exceptionally loving girl, and even though learning to trust has taken her longer than the average dog, we are all delighted with her progress. When provided the opportunity, she will happily share her love with you and be a wonderful addition to the right home.
Those who have the privilege of getting to know Maddie, cannot help but fall in love with her petite, gentle, and welcoming personality. She loves to smile, cuddle with her foster parents, and play with her fur-friends. She has not had exposure to young children, so we think the activity of young kids would not be the ideal home. While Maddie gets along well with her fur-friends, she does need a home that will be consistent with her training for continued success. Being able to make this commitment will provide Maddie a great home and her new family a special friend.
