UPDATE
Miss Stella is a super wonderful dog! She is just as kind and gentle as can be. I was out this evening and my neighbor’s children, who are 6 and 8, came over and given the opportunity, Miss Stella probably would have let them pet her all night.
She gets along fine with my two dogs and other than an occasional sniff, the feline members of my house as well. I can tell she still has a playful side but unfortunately, I can’t encourage it because of her heartworm status. She has not had a single accident since I’ve had her. She sleeps well through the night and is perfectly content to lay on the floor next to my bed.
You absolutely can’t miss with this girl.

Miss Stella received a 100% endorsement from everyone who met her on her journey to Cincinnati. They all said she was the absolute sweetest and most wonderful girl. She’s a big girl in the mid-80 range and approximately 6 years old. In return, she loves everyone and gets along beautifully with other dogs too. It appears as if her heart is just equal to her size and a doll like her deserves to be in a loving home. Her owner gave her up because she could not care for her any longer, which may be the reason she tested HW positive, but we will treat her immediately so she will be ready to move onto to her new family.
