Monte Carlo and Charlie Boy: Bonded Buddies – ADOPTED

9/9/2020 UPDATE: Charlie & Monte – Both of these good boys are relaxing in their foster home. They’re 100% housebroken and don’t bark at all – even with friendly new faces they’re nice and quiet! Walking up & down shallow steps is no problem. They walk well on a leash, and though they pay attention to squirrels and other dogs, it’s easy to redirect them.

These two are best friends and prefer to hang out in the same room…can you blame them? Monte (green collar) is one easy-going guy who loves to eat and is ready to play with Charlie. Charlie seems to be the “alpha” of the two and is taking a little longer to settle in, but he’s adjusting and eating better this week. They may be fine with cats and other pets once settled but haven’t been introduced to any yet. Charlie & Monte are a very sweet pair and would make wonderful companions!

8/31/20 UPDATE: Charlie & Monte – These big guys are so sweet and gentle. We can tell that they are a little confused by their situation – their lives have changed so quickly and so dramatically. They have great temperaments and are very sweet.

These two amazing nine-year-olds are in need of a new family. The owner has some medical complications and can no longer care for his dogs. They have shared their entire life together, so we prefer not to separate them at this point in time. Their dad was devastated saying goodbye to his beloved pets, and he had devoted excellent care and a good home for them. They are super sweet and adore people and are fine with other dogs and even cats. They are joyful when they get to go on car rides and good on a leash. We want to make sure that their new home continues to treasure these two wonderful dogs.
