FOSTER UPDATE 5/13/19:
Pearl came to her foster family fearful of just about everything. It is likely, in new situations. she will still be somewhat timid. Yet, considering her past, we are so pleased to witness Pearl’s amazing progress. She is so loving, she’s learning the joy of playtime, and loves chasing a ball. We know she would love to have a fenced yard to run and explore. She’s an easy girl who is so eager to please. She responds well to commands, such as, “no, leave it” and “good girl”. Pearl enjoys walks and walks easily beside you. Like so many labs, her favorite pastime is lying at your feet or next to you on the couch just soaking up your love! We often describe her as an “old soul” in a 2-year-old body. Her best match would be a quieter home with limited excitement and activity and of course, she would relish being surrounded by love. Pearl has touched all our hearts as she is easy to love. We are confident the time has come for her to find her forever home- she is ready and waiting for her new family.
