Rodney is also a 14-month-old and an active 70-pound male who was surrendered, along with his brother Todd, by his owner. The family had hoped the dogs would be content spending their time in the yard rather than interacting with the family and finally reached the conclusion that they did not have time to attend to the dogs. This also translates to the reality that a year old pup needs guidance and training. They are very affectionate and loving pups who relish human contact and have many kisses to share, yet both these busy pups will need families who will devote time to teach them about being ideal, well-mannered family pups.
We expect Todd and Rodney to go to separate families and think they will do just fine being separated.
