If Smokey Joe, the senior of the breeder pack, doesn’t grab your heart, we don’t know what would. He heads the list of those needing the most medical attention. Regardless, he has a beautiful, gentle soul and relishes human contact. The staff just adores him, and they are diligently working to help him feel better. At 9-10 years old and considerably underweight, he deserves the best we can offer. He has been compromised, and we are carefully monitoring his heart, kidneys, dermatitis, corneal lesions, and general health. You would never know Smokey J isn’t at 100%. because he is nothing short of a pure sweetheart. Finding him a loving place to call home would be the blessing he deserves.
