THUNDEROUS THOR- ADOPTED

Hi, my name’s Thor. I’m seven years old, and at 70lbs I’m one chunky hunk. I’d love to trim down after the holidays!  I’m a really, REALLY good boy – my friends at the Animal Hospital tell me so all the time. After seven years of practice, I’m an expert cuddler with so much more love and snuggles to give. 

Thor is an extremely special dog. He was injured five years ago and spent a few weeks in the hospital. As a result, he has some deficits in his hips, but they haven’t stopped him one bit! Thor loves running and retrieving ducks, and he went back to these activities right away. This is an extremely smart, loving dog. He gets along fantastically with children, other dogs, and even cats.

Thor’s journey to CLR began when his former owner fell ill and was no longer able to care for him. He asked Thor’s vet for assistance, who reached out to CLR to help find the perfect home. We’re so thankful to be given the opportunity to find a nurturing home for this older boy.

Medical Note: Due to Thor’s accident, he may develop some arthritis as he gets older, which would require regular veterinary visits and medication. He needs to be fed good-quality dog food and kept on a regular schedule to avoid constipation.
