UPDATE

Our little Valory had her very first tea party!

The first email from Valory’s foster mom: I’m in love!

FOSTER UPDATE: Valory is a very docile, laid back, and gentle lady.  She is content resting and spends quite a bit of time napping.  She is not really food or toy motivated.  She does want to be around people, but does not appear to have separation anxiety.  Very much a Mama dog to our Border Collie.  She gets along well with our dog, checks on her frequently, and cleans her ears.  Valory enjoys a slow pace of life, very sweet, she enjoys sitting in the sunshine in the morning and the shade in the afternoon.  We are looking forward to doing more things with her as her activity level increases following her heart worm treatment.  Valory is house broken and she has had no accidents in the house.  She does sleep in her crate at night but refuses for us to feed her in her crate!  (We do this with our fosters so they have a safe place to eat, but Val had none of that as she refused to eat in her crate and ate her meal outside of her crate with no issues.)

She does like to cuddle and will give occasional kisses.  Valory is very quiet, other than an occasional snore she has never made a peep.  We have never heard her bark.  She has tried to make a run for it by escaping out the front door.  Once outside she did not run far and did come right back.  We did put her on the long leash and let her explore the front yard and that seemed to pacify her curiosity. Sweet Valory would be a wonderful addition to any family.
