Meet Willow!  She is a 3 year old yellow lab that was found stray.

Personality:  Willow is gentle, friendly, and gets along great with both people and other dogs. She can be a little shy at first but warms right up.  She gets along great with other dogs so we are recommending placement in a home with another dog to help build her confidence.  She rides really well in the car and is the perfect buddy for outings or adventures.  She has a temperament that makes her so easy to love!

Training:  Willow is house trained and doing well with her leash skills. She’s still building confidence, but she tries hard and wants to please. With a little patience and reassurance, she’ll blossom even more.

Updates

Foster update:
Willow has settled into the house routine after only one day.  I’ll echo what her temporary foster said, she is a big sweetie!  She loves attention but isn’t overly pushy to get it.
Willow‘s pretty laid back but does like to run around when she’s outside. She gets along fine with my dog and the neighbor dog on the other side of the fence.  No aggression, just running back and forth barking and wagging tails.  She’s also fine with my cats, mostly just curious.
She eats politely and takes treats nicely. Training-wise, she’s house trained (so far), knows sit and shake, appears to be OK outside a crate when left alone and she slept quietly through the night.
I had family over for lunch today and Willow  soaked up all of the attention. Everyone commented on how calm she was and we’re surprised she had only been with me for a day. She passed the being around people test with flying colors!
Willow wants me to tell everyone to come and see her soon so she can find the forever home this wonderful dog deserves!
