Meet Happy! She is a 12 week old lab mix puppy that arrived into rescue after an unplanned pregnancy. She was surrendered with her entire litter and is now ready for her forever home! She is happy (as her name implies), healthy, and 100% adorable!
Personality -Most pictures of Happy show her sleeping—because that’s the only time she stays still long enough for a photo! She is a bouncy, happy pup that is known for her zoomies. She enjoys exploring the backyard, especially when she finds sticks to carry around. She is independent and entertains herself with toys but also enjoys playing with her foster’s resident dog. As she settles in, she’s becoming even more affectionate and loving.
Training: Happy is fully potty trained and very food-motivated, making her eager to learn. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she’ll continue to pick up new skills quickly.
Happy will thrive in a home that appreciates her playful spirit and need for adventure!
Updates
This little one is as sweet as they come! She’s making great progress with her bathroom manners and is learning to ring bells on the door when she needs to go out. She absolutely loves being outside, so a secure, fenced yard would be ideal for her. She also adores other dogs and would be a great companion for a playful pup—but she’d do just fine as the only dog, too!
Her puppy energy is just right—playful but not over the top. She was wonderful with our 18-month-old, offering nothing but kisses. Mealtime is one of her favorite parts of the day, and she’s learning to “place” and wait for her food. She’s improving with her jumping and is starting to come and sit instead.
At night, she sleeps soundly in her crate with no issues. She also enjoys cuddle time—whether on the couch or even in bed if that’s your preference. She’s walking well on a leash, did great in the car, and has an easygoing balance—ready to play when you are and happy to relax when it’s time to unwind.
