Meet Betty!  She is a 2 year old, 95lb yellow lab that was surrendered by her owner.  She was increasing uncomfortable about their 9 month old child, so we are recommending a home without small children.

Personality:  Betty is an energetic, lovable white lab who will steal your heart—and probably your spot on the couch! This 100-pound “lap dog” is happiest playing fetch with her tennis balls, going for walks, snuggling into pillows, and enjoying a good bone or treat. After some outdoor fun, she’s ready to curl up beside you for snuggle time.

Affectionately known as “Boopies,” Betty would thrive in an adult-only home or with older teenage kids who enjoy being active. She would love a dog sibling to play with, as she enjoyed playing with other dogs at daycare. She hasn’t had much exposure to cats but is comfortable with stairs and would love a home with a yard to run and play in.

Training:  Betty is thoroughly trained in obedience and has excellent house manners. She is housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash with a pinch collar. She knows a variety of commands, including:

  • Sit
  • Down
  • Stay (from a laying position)
  • Drop it
  • Leave it
  • Off
  • Hop up (onto furniture)

Betty is a great dog and ready to find her forever family!
