Meet Lucy! She is a 7 year old, 70lb black lab that was surrendered by her owner.
Personality: Lucy has big heart and an even bigger love for fetch! She’s friendly with both people and dogs, and does especially well with bigger kids who can join in on her playtime. Lucy is an energetic, active lab that is always up for an adventure! She loves to go for walks, play fetch, and enjoy an active lifestyle. When she’s not chasing after a ball, Lucy enjoys relaxing with her people and cuddling up for some snuggles.
Training: Lucy is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is currently working on her basic commands: sit, stay, come, and place. She’s eager to please and enjoys learning, especially when praise or play is involved. She is still working on her manners but with a little consistency, she’ll have her skills polished in no time.
Medical Disclosure: Lucy has been on a medical journey. She recently had emergency surgery due to a twisted stomach. Thanks to the fast action from put vet partners, Lucy had a successful surgery and is expected to make a full recovery! She will have sutures removed on 8/18. Lucy is also heartworm positive and will begin treatment over the next few weeks. CLR will cover expenses associated with treatment.
