Meet Bob! He is a 1 year old, 30lb chocolate lab. Bob has a sad story. He found himself at rescue after his owner was incarcerated. He arrived neglected and emaciated. His healthy weight is closer to 50lbs.
Personality: Bob is curious, gentle, and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. With a bit more exposure and reassurance, Bob will continue to grow in confidence and blossom into a loyal companion.
Training: Bob already knows “sit.” He is very treat-motivated, though he’s still perfecting his manners when taking them. He doesn’t seem to have much leash experience, but he responded well to redirection and shows great potential to learn quickly. Bath time wasn’t his favorite, but he tolerated it—and now he’s fresh, clean, and ready to cuddle.
Bob is a wonderful mix of sweetness and potential, just waiting for a family to help him build confidence and show him how good life can be.
