Meet Maverick! He is a 6 year old, 72lb black lab that was surrendered by his owner after being too energetic for their very young child (1 year old).
Personality: Maverick is an energetic, affectionate, and deeply loyal Lab who loves being involved in everything his people are doing. He thrives on attention and playtime and is happiest when he’s by your side, whether that’s outside chasing a ball or relaxing at home. He has a fun, playful spirit but also has a sweet, cuddly side and enjoys curling up on the couch or in bed with his favorite humans. Maverick forms strong bonds and is truly a “your shadow” kind of dog.
Training: Maverick is fully house-trained and crate-trained and has excellent manners in the home. He has never been destructive and respects his space and belongings. He knows all basic commands and responds well to structure and consistency. With his intelligence and eagerness to please, Maverick does best with an active home that will continue to give him outlets for both his physical energy and his love of engagement.
