UPDATE

7/7/2021 UPDATE: Asha arrived to CLR on 6/26. Because we had to wait until her puppies were a certain age to separate them from momma, we’ve been holding off on posting her to our website. Asha’s puppies are now in foster, and puppy adoption appointments will be held 7/17. Asha is ready to go home with you and your family!

My name’s Asha! I’m four years old and weigh 40lbs. I’m a loving momma to seven six-week-old puppies: America, Benjamin, Betsy, Brave, Glory, July, and Rocket. That’s four girls and three boys who are keeping me busy!

Asha’s journey to Cincinnati Lab Rescue was a long time coming. She lived her entire life outside on a 4ft chain. Someone within our rescue network was been trying to free her for years. When Asha became pregnant, her owners finally agreed to sell her to us so we could rescue her and her litter.

This girl is the absolute SWEETEST! She walks well on a leash and knows a few basic commands. She’s food motivated and is so happy to get a treat! She also loves snuggles…she melted right into one of our volunteers for ear scratches and pets! Asha has a really mellow but upbeat personality. She’s a happy, smiley girl who’s ready to start a much better chapter of life with her forever family!
