If anyone is confused why we caution our viewers about getting a puppy without considering normal puppy behavior, Casey’s story is the perfect example. 70 pounds of an adorable pup, Casey is a 10 to 12-month-old who was surrender to a kill shelter because she was “too active”. Fortunately, we were contacted when their workers found her hiding in a corner, curled in a ball, shaking. This image is devastating to us, let alone how this even happens. A kennel is definitely no place for a precious puppy who deserves to be part of a family. Our hope for the New Year is for her to join a family that will put her unfortunate past as a very distant memory.
