Colbert – ADOPTED

Colbert is another very special boy who, at only 2.5 years old, has had a pretty rough beginning.  He is HW positive (already has started his treatment), appears to have a few bumps and bruises, is scheduled to be neutered, and what appears to be an old injury on his rear leg that wasn’t treated.  He is not in pain, but we will pursue to make sure he has the proper care.  Apparently, he’s been at the shelter for several months, and he has touched my people’s hearts in the time.  He knows a few commands, and we were told he is such a gentle soul.  He adores mental stimulating games to occupy himself where he uses his smelling sense to solve a puzzle. One of his transporters stated in a group message that, “Colbert stole my heart”- followed by others replying, “Mine too!” We can’t imagine a better way to describe this wonderful boy who deserves the very best from this day forward.
