UPDATE
12/10/18 FOSTER UPDATE: All is good here. He doesn’t like being crated, so we have decided not to force him, and he’s doing fine. He sleeps with us at night, on his dog bed all night. He really is such a good boy! He had some reservations about my husband, but quickly got over that and now he loves him just as much. He is a gentleman. He handles our young kids and knows when he needs solitude, he will just distance himself and find his bed. He will love anyone that is willing to give him time. He is also doing wonderfully with cats and ignores them.
We did put a tennis ball to his mouth and he took it… so we played a little. We were so happy with that! We suspect a house environment is probably new to him and surprisingly he seems housebroken – yep, Zero accidents. After spending some time with Einstein, we really believe he would be the best dog for anyone and easily adapt to a new family.
