Meet Hank!  He is a 5 year old, 80lb yellow lab that was surrendered by his owners after a family member developed allergies.

Personality:  Hank is truly one of those “never met a stranger” dogs. He loves everyone—men, women, adults, and kids—and greets the world with a happy, friendly attitude. He’s a big cuddle bug who enjoys being close to his people and soaking up affection. Hank previously lived peacefully with two cats and did great with them, and he also gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He is just an all-around good-hearted, easygoing Lab.

Training:  Hank is very smart and has completed obedience training through Whole Dog University. He knows a long list of commands, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys going for walks. He loves to play fetch and is especially obsessed with his big red ball. While he’ll happily eat just about anything, he has always been kept on a controlled diet. Treats are an occasional indulgence for him, and his favorites are apples, celery, and carrots.  He is slightly overweight so he will need some restrictions to get to a healthy weight.

Hank would thrive in a home where he can continue being part of the family—going on walks, playing, cuddling, and just being included in everyday life. He would do well with children, other dogs, and even cats. He’s the kind of dog who fits in easily and brings joy wherever he goes.
