Meet Honey! She is a 1 year old, 55lb labradoodle that was surrendered by a breeder. She was surrendered with her mama (Rosie – Yellow Lab).
Personality: Honey is a loving and affectionate girl. She lights up when someone interacts with her and will happily soak up pets, belly rubs, and praise. Though she hasn’t lived indoors before, she’s eager to please and curious about everything. Her youthful, silly energy makes her a fun companion, and her sweet, gentle spirit makes her easy to fall in love with. She is a bit stressed with the transition but we know she will adjust quickly.
Training: Honey will need basic training and guidance to help her adjust to indoor living and learn house manners. She hasn’t had the chance to learn commands yet, but she’s smart and eager for structure. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Honey will thrive. A home with a yard to run and play would be ideal, as she still has that young-dog energy and loves to move.

Volunteer Update
Honey does not know any commands but is treat motivated so I think she’ll be a quick learner! She loved to play with the tennis ball and toys. She’s a little skittish when first meeting people, but she is just a puppy who would come out of her shell quickly in a home! She didn’t know how to leash walk but didn’t pull at all. She’s super friendly to everyone!
