Kaptain was found as a stray before he found his way to CLR after a few months at a shelter. He is only 1.5 years old and weighs 71 pounds, an ideal weight for a lab. We are sure he is just as happy to leave the shelter as we are to welcome him to CLR. He loves to play with other dogs and is fine with cats. Also, he keeps his kennel clean, which is a strong indication he is potty trained- a wonderful bonus for any adopter. Kaptain is an energetic, happy, active dog who will need some additional guidance as he matures and adjusts to his new home. Therefore, for now, a home with older children would be ideal. Of course, all dogs need the leadership and guidance to help them adjust and thrive with their new families, and we’re sure Kaptain will bring much love and joy into your home.
