At only 8 months old, adorable dudley lab, Max, was dumped at a shelter, because his elderly owner said he was too much for him to train. Max is housetrained and crate trained and prime to learn more from his new owners. He loves people and does great with other dogs and cats too. He’s all puppy and ready to settle right into his new home.
Sadly, the reality, because of overcrowding, this little pup was at high risk of being euthanized. He couldn’t be any cuter or sweeter, but this is another example of what happens when breeders (yes, originally came from a breeder) will willingly send a dog anywhere without looking back if this was in the best interest of a dog. Often, we are questioned about our process, but we feel it is our responsibility, born from experience and a love for the dogs, to participate in placing our CLR dogs. Our promise to the dogs is to do our best to provide them the best future.
