Nougat is the last pup from Hazelnut’s litter who will be ready for adoption 12/15. Like his siblings his life was at risk when CLR was contacted. They were literally born in a shelter and came to us immediately after birth. Yes, not all lab, but we just couldn’t refuse to help these puppies.
Hazel’s pups are all very quiet and calm. Like their mama, they thrive on being held, are great smugglers, and love to share multiple kisses.
Nougat is Chip’s counterpart in coloring being a darker chocolate color. He is the most cautious when exposed to new things, but it doesn’t prevent him from carefully moving forward and conquer his fears. He is such a happy pup and his cute little tail is always thumping with joy.
As a reminder from his foster family, it is so important to expose pups to new people & things every day! New toys and items for them to experience climbing on helps to build confidence. Currently, the pups are being paper trained and learning not to potty where they sleep. They are also being introduced to being crated to help transition them more easily to their new home.
