Meet Opal!  She is a 1 year old, 50lb lab mix that was found stray with puppies.

Personality – Opal is a gentle and loving companion, known for her sweet disposition. While she may initially be timid around loud noises and cars, she quickly warms up to those she trusts. Opal is very docile, especially in her crate, where she feels safe and secure.

Energy Level – Opal has a low energy level, preferring leisurely strolls and quiet time with her humans. She’s perfect for someone who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and wants a furry friend to share it with.

Known Commands – Opal hasn’t learned any commands yet, but she’s eager to please and ready to learn. With some patience and positive reinforcement, she’ll be a quick learner.  Opal isn’t particularly motivated by treats, but she responds well to positive reinforcement and praise. A loving pat or a kind word is all she needs to know she’s doing a great job.

Leash Manners – Opal walks well on a leash with no pulling, making her a delightful walking partner for anyone who enjoys a peaceful stroll around the neighborhood or a local park.

Temperament – Opal seems to get along well with other dogs, as observed during her interactions with neighborhood pups on walks. She could be a great companion for a household with existing canine members.  She also loves humans!  She is very trusting and sweet and would be a wonderful companion for individuals or families looking for a loving pet.
