3/8/21 UPDATE: Parker arrived safely to CLR yesterday. Check back soon for an update!
Hey future family, I’m Parker! I’m two years old and weigh roughly 50lbs. I’m an easy-going, happy boy who loves people and other dogs. I’ve had allllll my toes cross for WEEKS hoping I’d be reunited with my family, but now that I’m in Cincinnati I’m SO exited to have a second chance!
Parker arrived to CLR as a stray from Montgomery County Animal Control in Tennessee. His owners were notified of his whereabouts but never came for him. This poor boy waited almost a month in the shelter hoping to see his family again before he was transported to Ohio.
We had the chance to get Parker out for a walk and he really is the happiest boy! He was naturally very excited to be outside and was a bit jumpy at first, but that’s to be expected after spending weeks locked up in the kennel. He does need leash training and weaves a bit, but he settles in after a few minutes and will be an expert in no time. Parker keeps his kennel clean – we believe him to be housetrained. We introduced him to another dog and he did fantastic…they were walking side by side within minutes! This smiley boy will be an amazing addition to some lucky family very soon.
