Meet Ranger!  He is a 4 year old, 65lb black lab that was surrendered after his owner was deployed.

Personality: Ranger is a total sweetheart. He’s super polite, gentle, and easygoing—truly a joy to be around. He loves belly rubs, cozy cuddle sessions, and just being near his people.  He has that classic Lab personality that wins everyone over instantly.  Ranger has been exposed to other dogs, but we do feel like he would do best as an only dog.

Training:  Ranger is house-trained and knows how to be a respectful house guest. He’s well-mannered and calm, with a polite demeanor that makes him easy to have around.  He is always up for a walk or playtime, and would love a family who enjoys spending time with him both indoors and out.

Medical Disclosure: Ranger arrived two torn ACLs.  CLR consulted with a specialist, and he has had surgery to repair. He is on the mend and resuming activity.  He is expected to make a full recovery!

Updates

If you are looking for the ultimate snuggle buddy, Ranger foots the bill! He is a happy, super friendly boy that always has a smile on his face. He is doing amazing post surgery and absolutely loves going on our two walks a day. He is a gem to walk and lights up when he hears me grabbing his leash.

He is house trained and sleeps on his bed in our bedroom at night.

He gets along well with our dog, but prefers to spend his time with his humans. He can sometimes be dog selective. He loves his toys and enjoys laying on the porch watching people pass by.

Ranger has been through so much these past few weeks, and he would love nothing more than to have a home where he can relax and feel loved again
