Meet Taco! He is a 2 year old, 70lb black lab that was surrendered by his owner after they no longer had time for him.
Personality: Taco is a sweet, loving, and energetic boy who adores being around people and other dogs. He thrives in a family environment and loves kids! Taco enjoys the simple pleasures of life: chewing on bones, running around in the backyard, and soaking up attention from his humans. While he has a calm and gentle demeanor, he also has a playful side and would be happiest in a home with another young, active dog and a family ready to include him in daily life.
Training: Taco walks well on a leash, knows the command “sit,” and is house trained. He is treat-motivated and he learns quickly when rewarded with structure and positive reinforcement. He would benefit from a consistent daily routine and a family committed to giving him attention and guidance. Taco is very dog-friendly and does well meeting new canine companions.
