Two-year-old Betty White ended up at the shelter after the dog warden intervened. Apparently, she kept escaping from her home looking and begging for food and her safety was in question. She had recently weaned her puppies and now is without a family, even her little pups. If you’re wondering why we named her Betty White, even though she is a chocolate, it’s in memory of her namesake who loved all animals and had a great passion for dogs. Along with society, we wanted to also remember an iconic figure who was a gift to the animal world.
BW is not very big at only 47 pounds. She’s a sweet and friendly little girl and gives every indication of being housebroken. She was pretty excited on her ride to Cincinnati, so we are pretty sure she couldn’t wait to arrive and find her forever home.
