Carl is a 4 yr old, 54 lb. handsome boy who loves people and dogs. He walks well on a leash and aims to please his companion. Carl is a well trained dog who will sit and give paw as seen in video below. He is not fond of cats. Carl was found as a stray in Brown Cty but is so eager to be part of family sharing the love he has to offer.

We’ve had Carl for three days now. After the initial introduction to the house, he settled in quickly. He’s very calm and relaxed, minds well and knows some basic commands. Sit, Paw and down. He also knows kennel. A sweet boy who leans in for a pet if you sit next to him and loves to get pets or scratchers. He is crate trained and will go into his crate easily. He may whine a little when you leave but settles quickly.
The first night, he slept great in a crate in our bedroom with no issues. Since then, he has slept in a dog bed at the base of our bed and he didn’t leave it all night.
He’s a very sweet dog who is eager to please. He’s great with other dogs, he fits in based on their behavior.
Carl will definitely make someone or an entire family a wonderful and extremely loyal companion.
