10/22/20 UPDATE: Dorothy arrived safely to CLR yesterday and will hopefully go into foster sometime this week once she’s vetted. Check back soon for an update!
Hi friends – I’m Dorothy! I’m one year old and weigh 43lbs. I’m a friendly lady and like to be around both dogs and people. I’m even sweet around children! I’ve heard “there’s no place like home” and I’m looking for MY forever home…I’d love for it to be yours!
Dorothy comes to CLR from the niece of a fellow rescuer who got her as a puppy. Without a fenced in yard this pup was spending too much time on a chain. They felt it would be best to find Dorothy a new home for her own safety. She hasn’t had much leash training and will need to be taught basic leash manners, but we’re confident she’ll pick it up quickly! According to the vet she’s extremely sweet, a little scared, and just wants to be snuggled. This cuddle bug will be the perfect companion as we all prepare to snuggle up in the colder months!
